About the
North East

|
|
 |
Our office, 40
Church Street, is in the centre of Shildon, with handy parking just
to the rear. This pleasant little town has enjoyed considerable redevelopment
since the closure some years ago of its main employer. The town centre is now a
fine example of tasteful urban renewal, with a thriving business community. |
Shildon lies just south east of Bishop
Auckland, a town which has, along with many of the small industrial centres
in County Durham, benefited from considerable recent investment. Within a short
travelling distance of Shildon are many modern and prosperous centres of
employment.
The main transport route through County Durham,
the A1(M) is just a few minutes drive east of Shildon, providing easy access for
the commuter to major centres in the North East. Within half an hour's drive are
Tyneside, Teesside, and Sunderland. |
